As you may have already heard, we have just had a record year. We managed to surpass our targets by £17m. Originally we set out to secure £60m in new assets over the past 12 months but we managed to secure £77m of new business.

Managing partner Colin Lawson said: “Never in my wildest dreams when I set up Equilibrium in my back bedroom 19 years ago did I ever imagine we would be overseeing more than £380m worth of assets for a client base of over 600.

“I put our success down to good old fashioned business values and our fantastic team of staff, which has grown by a third in the past 12 months.

“Our award winning service is based on transparency and providing a genuinely personalised management service which is especially suited to investors with portfolios worth £1m plus.

“This approach has helped us to deliver some impressive returns for our clients and strengthen our service offering to the region’s HNW individuals and families.”

We’ve now set ourselves a target to secure an additional £67m worth of assets over the next year and an important part of our growth strategy will be to launch our own range of in-house funds to further enhance our service to clients.
