Whilst topics such as sex, religion and politics have made their way to the dinner table, money is still a taboo subject for us Brits.

However, in these times of spiralling living costs and rising taxes, many families are having to make stressful financial decisions which could be prevented.

In the UK, 92% of people rated “asking to borrow money” as the financial topic that makes them feel most uncomfortable (TotallyMoney). It’s no surprise, therefore, that it is often a lack of conversation that throws up barriers to supporting loved ones.
