    Fundraising for The Foundation

As Trustee of The Equilibrium Foundation I was delighted to see us raise a total of £5,500 for charity on the night. We raised this through Equilibrium matching the takings at the bar on the evening and from our charity box game, which saw one lucky winner open a box containing a stunning piece of fine jewellery and 9 runners-up winning a bottle of champagne.

I’m thrilled to say that this means through all of the fundraising efforts of the team across the year we have now raised an impressive total of £21,682.

This money will go to help some fantastic organisations who do extremely important work both locally and nationally, so we are extremely proud to have met our £21,000 target. Our five chosen charities by staff and clients are: Francis House Children’s Hospice, The Christie Charitable Fund, Enthusiasm, Alzheimer’s Society and St Kentigern Hospice.

Partner and Head of Client Care, Debbie Jukes, reflects on our recent 21st anniversary event at Tatton Park.

2016 has been a milestone year for Equilibrium as we celebrated our 21st year of business. Each year we usually host a Christmas party or two for our clients for us to come together and enjoy the festive season.

With it being our anniversary year, to say a big thank you to our supporters we wanted to do something extra special. We decided to set ourselves the challenge of putting on an event that would give an opportunity for all of our clients and the Equilibrium team to attend – and we wanted something with a little bit of the ‘wow’ factor! So, we made a big decision to book Tatton Park for the evening of Friday 25 November and set about planning the largest event in our history!

It was fantastic to see so many clients and friends of Equilibrium on the evening. With over 700 guests attending it certainly made it a night to remember. Thank you to everyone who attended and to all of you for your support of Equilibrium over the years.

Whilst another event at Tatton Park might be a long way off (perhaps one to consider for our next milestone when we turn 30?) I do hope to see many of you at an Equilibrium event in the near future.

Below are some memories that we would like to share from the evening – and if you were not able to make it hopefully these pictures will enable you to see some of the highlights…enjoy!
