Equilibrium Asset Management has bolstered its headcount after last month being named as the fifth best small company to work for by The Sunday Times.

Carl Hayes, Clare Hamilton, Laura Stewart, Charlene Love and David West have all been hired as Client Managers by the Wilmslow-headquartered Chartered wealth management company.

It follows significant investment into the refurbishment of multiple meeting rooms in Wilmslow – and means Equilibrium now boasts a team of 63 experts.

With an office in Chester also, Equilibrium is in its 22nd year as a business and now manages over £600 million worth of assets for more than 850 families across the UK.

Gaynor Rigby, Equilibrium Managing Partner, said:

After coming fifth in The Sunday Times’ 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2017’ we were keen to grow our team of experts.

“Carl, Laura, Clare, Charlene and David are all important hires as we look to continue to improve what we offer both current and potential clients.

She added: “What’s also good is that we have now grown into all the space at our Wilmslow headquarters, with 63 staff now on our books.

“The refurbishment work to our meeting rooms and MESS area, which is where our staff enjoy breakfast each morning and breaks during the day too, is very important to us. It all links to investing in our people and giving our staff the best possible place to work from and excel and progress.”
