Charities: who we have helped

The Equilibrium Foundation has helped many organisations and charities over the years since it was established in 2010. Below are some of those who we’ve helped so far.

Support during COVID-19
The Foundation has supported over 35 charities during the COVID-19 crisis with just a little over £62,000 of donations since March including:

  • Elle For Elle £1,000
  • Stockport without Abuse £5,000
  • East Cheshire Hospice (£5,000).
  • Various foodbanks to help those in need of support
  • MCR NHS Foundation Trust (£1000).
  • Age UK (£1,500).
  • Pure Insight (£5000).
  • Barnabus (£5000).
  • NHS Big Lunch Box – we provided 500 lunches for the NHS via this charity (£1500).
  • Our very own Julie-Anne Jackson, Office Manager, has been able to make 100 PPE visors for NHS workers with a donation of £300.
  • Various other NHS PPE charities
  • Cancer research
  • Various other domestic abuse charities
  • Additional wellbeing charities
  • Additional children’s charities

Winter fuel campaign
Our winter fuel campaign allows those who receive the government’s non-means tested winter fuel grant but don’t actually need it to donate their grant to the most vulnerable in society.

  • Age UK – funded 100 winter warmth packs
  • Friends of the elderly – over £3,400 (used this towards their COVID-19 efforts)
  • Wishing well – over £3,400 (used this towards their COVID-19 efforts)
