Cash 4 Kids – Mission Christmas

Last year we raised a fantastic £4,655.85 for the appeal from the generosity of our clients and employees.  We will be teaming up with Key 103 again this year, and we have made it even easier for you to help support such a great cause by becoming an official drop-off point for gifts. 
 

What is it?  

Cash for Kids Mission Christmas is a charity that donates toys and gifts to the less fortunate children of Greater Manchester at Christmas.
 

Why?

Greater Manchester is the worst hit region for child poverty in the UK with 1 in 3 living in poverty, which means 150,000 children are not expecting a visit from Santa this year.
   

How can you support? 

Our goal is to make Christmas a little more enjoyable for children in the region who are unlikely to receive any presents.   

We would love our clients to purchase a gift* to donate to the cause.  This year we are helping to make donating a gift even easier by becoming an official drop-off point for gifts. You can bring your gift to the Equilibrium Head Office (click here for how to find us) anytime during normal working office hours (9am-5pm) between Monday 16th November and Friday 11th December. Alternatively, if you are a client, you can bring your gift with you to our Christmas party. However if you are struggling for ideas we will be providing envelopes at the Christmas parties so that you can make a donation with which Equilibrium will purchase suitable gifts. 

*The children receiving gifts will be aged 0-18 years. However, babies and the age group 13-17 years typically receive less (for the latter this is probably because it is arguably the hardest bracket to buy for!)  At Equilibrium we would particularly like to help these children so whilst gifts appropriate for any child will of course be gratefully received, it would be great if those tricky teenagers could be given consideration.  Please ensure the gifts are new and unwrapped.
