Equilibrium has donated £7,100 to Manchester-based Francis House Children’s Hospice following a year of fundraising efforts to celebrate 21 years of business.
Francis House is based in Didsbury and provides free professional care and support to children of all backgrounds who have life limiting illness’.
Colin Lawson, founder and partner at Equilibrium said:
“Francis House is providing critical support to children and their families at a really difficult time in their lives.
“The care they provide is completely free of charge, which unfortunately in today’s climate is a rarity. It is for this reason that we are eager to give our support, as without the donations of organisations such as ourselves, Francis House would not exist.
“We hope that the funds we have raised will help staff at Francis House continue to dedicate themselves to providing a comfortable environment for children and their families. We look forward to embarking on further fundraising efforts in the future to support them”.
Francis House Children’s Hospice is one of five chosen charities from Equilibrium’s year of fundraising to raise £21,000 as part of their 21st anniversary plans, which also included St Kentigern Hospice, The Christie Charitable Fund, Alzheimer’s Society and The Enthusiasm Trust.
