The East Cheshire’s was founded in 1910 and works to bring together people from across the local community while also undertaking a raft of charitable initiatives.
Thom Copestake, an actor from The East Cheshire’s Musical Theatre Company who is responsible with helping with the fundraising for the company, said: “This grant will allow the society to grow and develop, to continue to promote the arts as a form of wellbeing, to engage with the local community and continue to support the charity and outreach work undertaken by members.”
