Chester Community Support Scheme

Last week we launched our brand new Chester Community Support Scheme to provide vital funding for community organisations in the local area.

We are inviting community groups in Chester to apply for funding. The scheme will accept applications from community groups or organisations which help disadvantaged people, promote sport and the arts, support education and development, and benefit the environment in Chester.

Colin Lawson, managing partner, said:

We have always believed strongly in supporting the communities we work in and instead of donating to just one charity, we want to help has many local groups as possible.

Our on-going success means we are able to offer financial support to some of the excellent community initiatives which benefit the local community.

The Community Support Scheme panel will meet quarterly to consider applications, and grants will range from £100 to £500. The scheme will only consider activities that benefit the local community and are non-profitable.
