For the best part of eight years I worked with a fintech start-up on something that genuinely mattered to me — making finance fairer, more transparent, and open to more people and businesses than it tends to be. We did that through a network of trusted retail partners, offering consumer finance people could actually get their heads around, and grew the loan book past £110 million along the way. I also had the pleasure of leading our Operations teams across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
I’m at my best in a fast-paced business surrounded by people who care about what they’re building. When I first met the team at Equilibrium, it was obvious they were cut from the same cloth — and about to set off on an ambitious, genuinely exciting journey. I’m thrilled to now be part of it.
Outside work, you’ll usually find me in the gym, out walking — living in West Yorkshire helps no end with that — or down the front at a rock concert.
