St Kentigern Hospice is the second charity to benefit from our 21st fundraising

Equilibrium has donated £2500 to Denbighshire-based St Kentigern Hospice, one of the charities chosen to benefit from the £21,000 raised during the firm’s 21st anniversary efforts.

Equilibrium were delighted to be able to support the charity, which provides palliative care and support to patients with life limiting illness.

Colin Lawson, founder and partner at Equilibrium said:

St Kentigern Hospice provide care to patients and their families at a very difficult time and we really admire their passion, dedication and skill in making it as comfortable as possible for the people involved.

Two of our staff have had family members who have stayed at the hospice, so for us there is a real personal connection.

We sincerely hope that organisations such as ourselves continue to help St Kentigern so they can keep supporting families and individuals in the community long into the future.

The hospice first opened in 1995 to provide day support to patients in the area and has since then opened an in-patient unit which provides care all year round.

St Kentigern Hospice is one of five chosen charities from Equilibrium’s year of fundraising to raise £21,000 as part of their 21st anniversary plans, which also included Francis House Children’s Hospice, The Christie Charitable Fund, Alzheimer’s Society and The Enthusiasm Trust.
